The Internet isn't always right though.

Well go to the trouble of proving him wrong then?

Either you accept vague false statements or value truth. People fact-checking, or trying to, are not the problem here

He's spot on about the make up of the Welsh and Irish Rugby squads.
All I said was Google isn't always right.
For example one of our most famous hurlers was Jim Morrissey. Wikipedia hasn't even got his club right.
And don't get me started about fix it videos on YouTube for certain types of motorcycles, some of which could result in massive expense or even be dangerous.

Cavan have more All-Irelands than any other country and Welsh rugby internationals are all born and bred in Wales.

Everyone should just accept with these facts without query or nuance

So now we have no non Irish citizens playing for the Irish rugby team now. And I never knew James Lowes children were Irish born like Bundee Akis. These lads aren't mercenaries only here for the money or because they wanted to play International rugby. They've made their lives here.

Ok fair enough. It read like you were undermining his fact-checking.

You can update Jim Morrissey's wiki page yourself if you like. It relies on users to keep it accurate.

Most likely means that something is very probable. Not certain.

Hope this helps.

True Viking. It's always worth double checking with different sources. I used to set pub quizzes for several years. I got the questions from various sources, and would always double check any questions I didn't know or was unsure of, before including them. Pre-internet I would use reference books. It's a lot easier using the Internet.

Not sure how to do it. This forum is the limit of my ability. I'm a technological neanderthal.

They are simply not Irish.. the rules for playing International rugby are just ridiculous… A player should have some sort of Irish roots instead of the ridiculous current rule… A player who won a World Cup medal last time round was an Irish player in the previous World Cup… how can that make sense..?

I'm sorry, but unless its you who is sending these posts then you have zero clue how probable or otherwise anyone else's unread posts are doing with the admin on here. How would you even know who sent what?

That's why they changed the rule.

Too busy being HAPPY. At least I am. DOGE is finding Billions in Waste, Fraud, and Abuse of Taxpayers Money, the NYC Congestion Pricing debacle just got ended by Trump, the Border has never been quieter, the Russia-Ukraine thing seems to be getting towards a finish, the Middle East is quieter too, etc. All this in only 30 days. Hon Mr Trump!

All posts do not get published. Im sure even some of your own sagely prognostications have not been shared.

Which is perfectly legitimate on part of moderators. Its their site. Has to be oversight even at expense of annoying people.

They've a rota. I haven't quite worked it out yet but some moderators seem to let it a bit more go than others. Could be my imagination though!
