45 minutes and the Clare forwards have scored 1 point from play. Shocking stuff!

Replying To Trump2020:  "Too many wides for Clare so far. Kilkenny hurling them off the pitch. If Clare don't wake up soon it will be a route."
Wake up? It was clear after 5 minutes that they didn't even want to be there. Other Hurlers are just scared of kilkenny.
A few early hits and that's it, they go looking for their mammies.

They can't score, pass, or mark. Poor fare for a SF.

I just hope that tomorrow's game is at least competitive after that turkey shoot. 23 wides. That was grim.

Very disappointing show from Clare. I take no pleasure in saying it but they were truly awful. When the real heat was on the so called big stars went missing. Tis easy for the likes of Tony Kelly to be knocking over frees in Ennis and scoring loads of points when he's not being tightly marked. Badly exposed today. Saying that, fair play to Shane OD and Fitzgerald for not lying down and keeping going till the end.

Replying To Ulsterman:  "Some great games this year but the question remains. Why can't the hurling fraternity fill out Croke Park for an All Ireland semi final? Plenty of big empty spaces today. Now I know accommodation in Dublin is sky high but still, poor enough crowd."
Maybe hurling should have mass brawling and eye gouging at half-time and full time to bring the crowds in?

Fair play to Kilkenny today. Monster performance.. Even if it was a bad day for Clare, overall it has been a great year considering expectations at the outset. Many positives to bring forward, and some very promising players coming through. A lot will be learned from the last two games, and I am already looking forward to next year. Thank you to all the players and management for magnificent entertainment throughout the year! With you in all the highs and lows.

Think Lohan made a huge mistake with his starting team..Nolan played very well when he came on..backs I thought did well because the ball never seemed to be out of their half in first half..mcinerney,Ryan and davy fitz kept it going..balm into forwards was awful..Kelly left on frees again when duggan was on the field, doesn't make since..o donnell wasn't bad, tried hard.what was it with the crazy shots from way out field..needed goals and fellas going for points..kk were very good, outstanding in the air and played as a team..they will be very hard to beat in final..

Playing Kilkenny is about as dangerous as it gets. When they are on top they go for the gugler. I have always said you need to be twice better than them. The few times we have beaten them I always checked the next morning if it was true.

Did you see all the scores from play he got against the limerick full back line in the round robin?
It seems you're taking a lot of pleasure from it.
Clare brought a lot to this championship but didn't turn up today. Lohan got a lot wrong and didn't make changes when he should have. It was hard watch lads hit wide after wide when most of the shots were never on. Decision making was really shocking. Mcinerney and Fitzgerald had decent games but both hit 5 wides by my count and most weren't even close to being on.
Hoping for a game of hurling tomorrow.

Well nobody saw that result coming.....my heart goes out to Clare! It just didn't happen one of those days where nothing went right.
Too much panic shooting from long range with lots of mistakes and wides. Clare created enough scoring chances to win that game, 23 wides is unacceptable.
Hard luck Clare, just wondering were they over confident coming into the game and expecting to walk their way through KK into the All Ireland Final!

I find the pundits very patronising towards Galway.
They are essentially saying that Galway will play well but will lose. I think it's 50/50 Sunday

Replying To LohansRedHelmet:  "I agree with you to an extent in thy I think Limerick have gone further ahead of the chasing pack with the exception of my own county.

After two draws in 70 minutes against Clare so far you cannot say that Clare this year have not closed the gap on Limerick.

I did not see anything out of Galway that would challenge Limerick in my opinion and with the bookies giving a margin of 5, I think Limerick minus 5 is free money to be honest.

Clare v KK is interesting as it is 16 years since the teams last met and therefore there is a lack of familiarity. I think we are favorites for this game though if and only if we can get back to our Munster championship form. I think we will. I think the game yesterday would have gotten rid of the Munster final feelings and we can move forward fresh. KK lost to Wexford and Galway (in the RR). Galway, although they won were poor yesteday I thought and we beat Wexford having only hurled for 15 minutes. Form wise I think we will win."
That didn't age well. Can only hope now that you won't be drowning your sorrows on all that 'free money' off Limerick -5.

Nobody saw it coming, don't be ridiculous! Did you not watch the Clare v Wexford game?

Little secret......I got Kilkenny to win 1st half @11/8 and Clare +13 2nd half!!
Excuse me...I mistakenly added "a" to his surname.

A lot made of Conlon missing and he was a big loss. It puts in prospective for us of missing Prunty, DeBurca, Barron and Daly. I honesty was not too surprised with the result but of the magnitude of it. The thing about Kilkenny is the longer the breaks they get, the better they are. That is how they accumulated so many All-Irelands. For years on meaningful game and then in the final. If you are going to knock them out and that does not happen too often you had better do it in the round robin. In the game when they get on top, they skewer you. Clare won the second half by two points but 24 wides is terrible and the first half trouncing.
