Also instead of posting the (county) team on twitter before the last few games, there was tweet "encouraging" you do download the app to find out who is playing. It's quite annoying and I'm not sure anyone needs more apps on their phone.

Get with the programme lad. Most clubs now have their own apps and it just about time the county had theirs too.

That's quite a weak Galway panel named. Is the unthinkable on? farneygael3 (Monaghan) - Posts: 559 - 13/03/2026 09:51:34 2661061 Link 0 |

It was always on. When we get our whole panel back, we will go deep into the championship. monaghanmad (Monaghan) - Posts: 468 - 13/03/2026 11:27:50 2661071 Link 1 |

I don't know if this is disrespectful, arrogant or tongue in cheek?

I'm worried now! The Galway travelling panel has only six All Stars starting and a player of the year on the bench. There are multiple All Ireland winners from Galway Minor and U20 and U21 winning teams also included. You should be thankful that Comer, Walsh, McDaid and Daly are been prepared for the Connacht Championship and aren't required to travel on this occasion. What would you classify as a strong panel?

Very strange this last two weeks, no media at all by Bannigan and co...Very strange, usually the media is hit big time when they are off either talking about injuries or plans. monaghanmad (Monaghan) - Posts: 468 - 13/03/2026 15:30:06 2661101 Link 0 |

We aren't doing that bad, nip and tuck in every game. A load of new players blooded, we've had a decent league in my opinion. I wouldn't worry about Division 2 if it happened, sure Armagh, Dublin and Donegal aren't long out of it. Back to you, what would improve our so called weak panel?

Id say a lot of soul searching was done as to what they want to achieve this season as it seems like damage limitation and just playing for pride is the limit of the ambitions for rest of season. V difficult to see us beating anyone at the moment. Misfiring laboured attack playing at v slow pace a weak midfield and a wide open defence. A lot of that is down to players missing but not all of it. There has been a big regression in form from last season especially among the sides leading lights last year.
