I'd say the kileevan and traugh players are raging. Both teams know they aren't going to win and I'm sure they wouldn't mind finishing up. So poorly handled by county board. What are killeevan gonna gain from this? They aren't gonna win Junior and if they somehow got promoted It'd be a very long year…. They can't even beat a truagh C team! Someone in the squad needs to tell the higher up people that they are wasting their time and they are making the club look stupid. They'd be missing graham too if not mistaken after him getting sent off against Currin. Aghbog v Truagh is only game affected all other fixtures go ahead this weekend. Killeevan feel aggrieved by the way this has been handles. bigger picture is that junior clubs are not happy with senior clubs participating in the junior league and championship under the current grading system. players yo yoing between their senior team and junior team , some players fielding for two teams over the same weekend and treating junior as a reserve league. the bye law regarding championship and league relegation playoff games needs to be tied up. this has caused the issue in this case. dates for junior semi finals weekend 3rd Oct Final 18th Oct Ulster club Monaghan v Antrim 1st Nov latefortraining (Monaghan) - Posts: 140 - 25/09/2026 13:59:13 2695015 Link

The whole competition will be impacted by killeevans Junior Infant behaviour" It's not about one game, much bigger thing at play here, Every junior club stands to gain by this because it will hopefully waken and tighten up the rules around grading etc for many years to come…it's become farcical.. no 3rd team should be allowed near a junior championship… The whole junior competition has been impacted by Monaghan county boards sheer refusal and incompetence to deal with this issue, this game took place on 7th August and hasn't been dealt with which is unbelievable at this stage so fault should firmly lie there… It's aghabog that are the real losers here and got to feel for them… mick2007 (Monaghan) - Posts: 700 - 25/09/2026 14:17:41 2695020 Link
