Replying To Eddie the Exile:  "A feature of Monaghan's best campaigns was that the best players in the county were available for selection. It is fair to say that is has not been the case in recent seasons. Not blaming management entirely for the situation, but certainly it is their job to rectify."
Seemingly there is a new lead physio the past 3-4 years which just so happens to marry up with the increase in injuries/re injury..
Also hearing a fair few of the players are using outside physios as they are not happy with the quality of service.

Replying To monaghanmad:  "And don't name mc bennet, Loughran, Jones. They all walked away mid season for the county. Men that walk away in the middle of championship are of no addition to a county team."
These men walked away because they were completely shafted, not being let play with their clubs then being promised and not getting minutes with county at the weekend. Players want to play games and there's only so long men will be strung along before they break.

Replying To MonaghanMan44life:  "The club season is only starting for 90% of the senior clubs in Monaghan. Congratulations on being ordinary while everyone else was playing preseason games.
I'd hazard a bet Blayney doesn't win a single championship game.."
Seems to be a few accounts on here awful bitter towards blayney. Wonder why that is

Think there's a bit of truth in that all right lads just want to play ball but in monaghan we have dont want to drop the tried and tested, oh we need to get to div 1 div1 div1 look at our neighbours last Sunday no 6 8 9 10 12 all 6 ft 3 plus we're they all superstars when they were blooded but there not obsessed with div 1 we in monaghan are looking at small 5 v 5 pod matches in cloghan where the wee lad looks unreal turning ball over and winning dirty ball on the ground but take them up the road and they look like tadpoles in the sea what a big lad gives you in croker is a platform to win a championship because theres where its won in the air not 5 v 5 in cloghan a big lad doesn't shine in training pods or winning dirty ball on the ground but when it comes to a 50k plus match there's only 1 winner on kickouts all I know is were not progressing 3 options this year for midfield and 2 got injured unlucky some will say for me no there should have been 4 to 5 midfielders playing at 8 9 10 12 all last year and this year and in the event of an injury they drop in to 8 or 9
