It's called a preseason competition for a reason. Junior and intermediate lads get tokenism runs. Well by God we saw some amount of togs dirtied in Breffni on Sunday when the big boys showed up. First thing going into an All Ireland semi final, you need to have a level of fitness comparable to the opposition. Secondy you need to have a hunger and bravery for the 60+ minutes on the field. The Parishes had neither. You also need to be as mistake free as possible. At least 1-6 of the Bridgets scores came from unforced errors. Lastly scores are not got or games won by playing football around the middle third of the field. In essence the Parishes have been doing the same thing all year. It was just about good enough in Monaghan, got them through Ulster with a lot of luck but was never going to be enough when the big boys showed up to play. In reality it was a four point hammering on Sunday." You still haven't answered my question, what club are you from? Your either from a super club in Monaghan we don't know about or your one of the many sour lads that hasn't a clue but just hates to see success.
