Bannigan needs to pressure about 13 of the Scotstown panel to come in this year and give Ulster a right crack. And look to get back to the AISF. Personally think this is achieveable if he can get those lads in

If he does what you say Cavan will be favourites when they meet you.

13!! and where would he pull all these from? he'd have been better if he didn't let those 10/12 lads leave last year and he'd have a far stronger panel than the current bunch of 3rd strings.

It's called a preseason competition for a reason. Junior and intermediate lads get tokenism runs. I'm talking lads back for the hard ground proper football.

Two lads you've named at the top aren't good enough for top level intercounty football as one of them proved twice against Donegal last year….. the likes of Mallon and maguire are excellent talents coming but can't be just flung straight into a senior set-up.. let them play their u20s…

Replying To sporto:  "Hard luck Scotstown, as said previously had enough chances to win it but the half time deficit was never really overturned.

Out of interest, have many of the lads on display Sunday played and developed through their junior league/championship team? That's been going on a number of years now so it would be interesting to see. A lot of the younger players got the scores on Sunday (along with McCarron) so it looks like they are the team to beat for another few years at least."
Darragh Murray, McCarville, McPhillips, Mattie Maguire

On the bench and played this year senior champ

James Hamill
Ross McKenna
Jason Carey
Killian McKenna

Cavan and Rangers are very similar.

The only trophy of merit you've both won in recent history was during worldwide turmoil & with not a sinner in attendance.

Replying To ORIELMAN85:  "We had men from the Parishes on here a few weeks ago talking about Ulster opponents dirtying their togs. Well by God we saw some amount of togs dirtied in Breffni on Sunday when the big boys showed up. First thing going into an All Ireland semi final, you need to have a level of fitness comparable to the opposition. Secondy you need to have a hunger and bravery for the 60+ minutes on the field. The Parishes had neither. You also need to be as mistake free as possible. At least 1-6 of the Bridgets scores came from unforced errors. Lastly scores are not got or games won by playing football around the middle third of the field. In essence the Parishes have been doing the same thing all year. It was just about good enough in Monaghan, got them through Ulster with a lot of luck but was never going to be enough when the big boys showed up to play. In reality it was a four point hammering on Sunday."
You still haven't answered my question, what club are you from?
Your either from a super club in Monaghan we don't know about or your one of the many sour lads that hasn't a clue but just hates to see success.

Interesting, definitely been a help then when you see the quality it has helped develop, particularly midfield.
