Replying To A_Chairde:  "Sounds like it was a great game between Marist and Terenure , Andrew Hensons goal that can be seen online was something else. The Bucc will be busy in the next few weeks as he will be away on a high performance camp with the Ireland u19 rugby squad after Christmas. A fine talent, his dad Karl was as tough as they come"
Ah very good, I assumed he was a son of Karl's alright. Anyone else impressing on the Marist team from this side of the Shannon ?

Marist team is littered with talent from our own clubs , James Mc Hugh another one for the future from Garrycastle. Sean Whittaker (Tubberclair), Adam Smyth (Maryland ) , Willie Geraghty (Maryland), young Burke from Castleldaly, Darragh Lough (Athlone) . I should mention Darragh Glennon also from Garrycastle, I hear hes getting on well with the rugby too. The lure of rugby is a problem for Garrycastle at the moment

CBS Mullingar had a 2 point win after ET over St Pats Navan today in Dunganny. Saw bits online, conditions looked horrendous. Team backboned by Mullingar Shamrocks minor winning side along with lads from Shandonagh, Lomans and The Downs plus others I'm sure. Next up is Naas in the semi final to be played mid Jan.

Massive win for Colaiste Mhuire against Pat's Navan in Colleges quarter final. Extra time needed again, desperately tough conditions for playing, Pats could have snatched it, think they're playing Naas next,

Great win for cbs today dug it out in the end to win. Although with the wind In second half they never looked like they were gonna lose. Some great players Ormsby fielded some amount and mick molony played some great football. At least for them after Christmas all injured will be ready to play.Surprise after our own county men wrote them off assuming pats would win but once again proving why tehre Leinster champs .(Westmeath examiner)

James McHugh, himself and Henson would be the best Garrycastle have brought through in a number of years and will definitely be pushing for their first team. Sean Whittaker from Tubberclair also scoring a lot, but if I'm correct he can't play senior until 2027, a lot of the team would be made up with players from Roscommon also.
