Replying To Claretandblue:  "How would you know what wearing a jersey means to a player? Keeper possibly should have stopped fourth goal but defender beforehand more culpable. They're young players who made mistakes. Hardly means they don't care."
Perhaps I phrased it badly. I don't have any idea of what anyone is thinking about anything. That is true.

It is a poor team which has gotten beaten by other poor teams and was blessed not to have been beaten by Wicklow. Ludicrous that they and other bad teams are still in the championship.

Happy now?

I know it would probably not end well, but playing Kerry might be the best draw.

Better to exit on their shield against the best than be maintained on life support!

Replying To gaelsboy:  "Is it actually the first time Dublin has lost 2 championship games in a row? If so that is a unique fact. Also a sign of the times, great respect for what was achieved over the years by JG and the lads but those days are over now, new squad to rebuild with needed. Also still think you were done dirty by GBs suspension, that would not have happened JG when you in were in the hay day."
There is an All Ireland winning spine there. Davy Byrne, Lee Gannon, Brian Howard, Niall Scully, Con, Ciaran Kilkenny, Cormac Costello, Paddy Small. That's half a team. The problem is that newer players aren't stepping up at all and Dublin have a real problem at the goalkeeper position which position is vital under the new rules. Don't think Dublin are too far away though.

I know a good few mentioned it but what would Dublin fans desire be with Croke Park. No atmosphere or entertainment playing in an empty 80k stadium. Even getting 25k which is still a decent crowd feels diabolical in there.

A) Stay in Croke Park
B) Play in Parnell Park (max seems to be 9k)
C) Find a way to share a new RDS with Leinster rugby for 25-30k
( I know that's probably a non runner with pitch dimensions)
D) build or revamp another municipal venue in Dublin to get a new 25-30k capacity for Dublin GAA.

Feel like we should have built a proper mid sized modern stadium in Dublin with excellent facilities and infrastructure years ago that could have been shared between all sports.
A 25k multi use stadium should have been commissioned years ago during Nama.

It has to be closer to 12,000. It is a moveable feast as when full to the rafters as last Sunday there are people in places which do not even exist for ticketing purposes!
