Replying To Jack L:  "Promotion eide open now"
I'll try this again. We have 2 tough, must win games left. No more room for slip ups. I've seen today's team sheet and it looks about as strong as we have on the panel. I don't see P O'Toole but that might be a misprint as there is another Kiltegan player named twice. I see Johnny Carlin back and I hope that works out ok. There is no doubt that we need more options in attack. Best of luck to the lads today.

Victory for Wicklow or Tipperary puts the winner into pole position for promotion with one round left. It is good to see Malcahy Stone back in defence - he was excellent last season. Defensively Wicklow has been frail, hopefully him returning will help us defensively to tighten up. Best of luck to team and hope we can get a victory."
That's some score at half time, lots to play for next week. London, yourselves, Carlow & Longford (even if they loose) all in with a shout. The tightest Division 4 in years.

I'm delighted to see your lads getting their act together also. Leitrim have always been a proud footballing county, picking from a smaller pool than most counties. We have always struggled to beat you and I'd say Leitrim are in front in the head to heads. I also have to admire the humility and realism of the posters on your very active forum, unlike some others.

Very interesting next week alright. Ironically if Leitrim were to beat Carlow we would be hot favourites for the second promotion spot even with a loss to Longford (bar a hammering). Lots of permutations but Wicklow in a very strong position now.

I think we will be sitting this one out unless Antrim & London draw... a lot of things would need to go our way. But Tipperary could also come into the fold as well as they play Waterford and would be expected to win. I would have thought head to heads would come into play also but I stand corrected. Either way, no more than yourselves we should be looking to win our final games.

Does anyone know if two teams finish level on points; is it head to head results or scoring difference that decides placings?

If two teams are level on points its head to head, woth three teams it goes to points difference. Well done to the lads on a big win today, I wasn't at the match, who stood out?

Head to head if only 2 teams, if more than 2 then points difference. So for example 4 very possible results next week is wins for Tipp,Longford, Leitrim and Antrim. That would leave Longford top on 9 and Wicklow Carlow Antrim Leitrim and Tipp on eight with Wicklow most likely to claim second on points difference.
