Looking at the u20 panel and it shows which teams are doing the most at underage.
Currently in todays panel there is 1 player from NC, Gweedore, St.Eunans and none from Kilcar.

Whereas FM, Dungloe, Glenswilly termon and Glenfinn have 2 -3 on the panel.
Probably reading to much into this but I really believe we are going to a big change in the so called top four over the next 3-5 years

Tickets will go to the clubs. They will allocate them to their members, the people who are the heart and soul of the gaa. They're the 'right people'.

For all the money invested in maccumhaill park by donegal County board over the years they really need to address the playing surface which is way below the standard of many other pitches in the county. The cancellation of tonight's game another example

What money has been invested over the last 5 years? Everything went to Convoy.

Yeah delighted, good seats in the main stand.

From what I read in Irish Time article last night, the combined number of Donegal and Derry Season Ticket holders is 628, I suspect he bulk of these are Donegal fans, as I heard previously that there was a low Season ticket uptake from Derry fans long-term.

Celtic Park capacity is currently reduced from 18,000 to 13500, with 3500 seats in the main stand.

Heard recently that MacCumhaill park is scheduled to get a new pitch later this year, set to cost over €200k for a new pitch. Not sure how accurate that is, but that pitch is long overdue an upgrade.

It's a long long time since McCumhaill Park was resurfaced. It may have gotten a few patch jobs, but not fully relaid. From memory I think it was done around the same time as the Stand, which I think was around 1998 or 99.

There as being practically zero money invested in mac Cumhaill park by the CB in recent years.
The game should have been called at the pitch inspection at 2.00pm yesterday. it was deemed playable but anyone could see it would be unplayable later in the evening.

It is long overdue an upgrade but i don't see them doing anything with the pitch in the near future. The problem is, its a club pitch as well as a county ground. It hosts the most intercounty games, league and championship and the most club league and championship games.

I played in MacCumhaill park a few times in the mid-late 90's, after the main stand was roofed, so assuming the pitch had been worked on by that stage. The middle of the pitch had a slight hump in it, so maybe that was before the work.
The pitch is definitely in poor condition by County ground standards.

Noticed a lot of grounds in Ulster and across the Country have had their capacities dramatically reduced in recent years, I have listed some differences below, but suspect MacCumhaill park is probably lower than 17,500 capacity now.

- Celtic Park is 13500, used to be 18,000 after terrace upgrade work.
- Athletic Grounds is 18,500 - No change since upgrade work.
- Healy Park is 17,636, used to be 26,000.
- MacCumhaill Park is 17,500, used to be 21000.
- Breffni Park is 25,030, used to be 32,000.
- Clones is now 29,000, used to be 36,000.

Any particular reason for such a large capacity reduction?

Of course theres no money invested in it.We have 3 County grounds,its crazy,most Counties have 1 ,some have 2 and we have 3.The third one gets basically 1 decent game a year,doesn't even get a decent club game.

Health and safety. I remember MacCumhaill park being 21000 or something like that. It was fairly tight on the terraces when it was at full capacity.

In a word - Casement.

The purpose of these reduced capacities is to assist in the narrative that we really need Casement built. Once Casement is built the numbers will be increased.

The provision of increased toilets and a bit of paint and signage would see those capacities raised quite easily.

The old pitch had manies the hump on it. Likewise I played on it plenty in the mid to late 90's. Maybe some of our McCumhaills posters could enlighten us. Google searches haven't answered the question regarding the stand, but I'd risk a few pound on it having opened in 98.

Aodh Ruadh and St Eunans both raised their own funds to carry out upgrades, independent of the county board. Eunans rightly honoured their benefactor recently with the naming of the stand in his honour.

Absolute nonsense!
Councils have reduced capacities in many grounds that are not seated due to Health and Safety. Any standing area has been reduced for safety as well as the required provision of toilets, barriers and exits/entries. 3/4 of Celtic Park is standing.

To suggest this is something to do with Casement is one of the most bonkers things I've heard in a long time!

Nonsense. Grounds all over the country had capacities reduced, in other provinces , same thing in soccer. It's done to improve safety and reduce the risk for supporters.
