I'd say most counties will ignore the ban.

Just like during Covid.

Looking at the size of some counties it's almost impossible to police.

For example if Jim decides to take the boys for a session up in Moville, do you really think Croke Park are going to have eyes up there?

As long as the pitch isn't near a main road you'll get away with it handy enough.

If only there was a privacy fence around the pitch in Convoy...

Replying To ThroughTheGap:  "Well, I know of one team that are 100% back doing collective sessions but I don't know for how long they've been doing it. Let's just say that there's also speculation that this team will also be rejoined by a former great player who stepped away a few years ago.

Big day in Galway for Mark McHugh. If he was the coach of a winning championship team it would be good signs for him."
Seems a bit ironic that the GPA wanted rid of the pre season tournaments because of workload on players, yet they just ignore the fact that many of their members are breaking the rules and taking part in collective training sessions.

Not being confrontational, but can someone outline the following.

What do the big clubs see as the problem with reserve football as it's currently structured.

How can this be improved.

What opinion do the clubs have on the current three division set up.

How can the CCC structure/grade competitions so that clubs feel they can compete and not drop out after their first hammering. This is detrimental to the competitions for example Red Hughs are straight through to the u21C quarter finals on 4 points and they haven't kicked a ball. That's not their fault but it diminishes the competition.

I think most are adhering to the rules, haven't heard of any County breaching it, and usually gossip spreads within GAA circles very quickly

Really? You didn't hear of a team training on Thursday night, Saturday and Sunday? Right. Maybe people are lying to me : )

No, never heard a peep and never seen anything. I'm sure said Counties wouldn't be broadcasting it and loyal supporters wouldn't be touting on them by broadcasting it on public forums etc.

Congratulations to Peadar Mogan and Oisin Gallen on becoming All Stars, really well deserved. We had a few other players who were probably in the running for awards as well, but 2 awards is good considering we didn't reach the All Ireland final and the finalists get the bulk of them.

Also delighted for Niall Morgan, he definitely deserved this All Star, as his performances were outstanding this year.

Yes well done to both, particularly Mogan as he would have been a big outsider at the start of the year. McGee/Niall O'Donnell had a strong start to the championship and Langan a strong finish - those three wernt far away either along with McCole I'd imagine. But the finalists normally get the most and rightky so. Morgan is a class act and if these new rules go through he could be a good shout for POTY next year.

Massive congrats to Mogan and Gallen, both very deserving of their award. Thought McCole was very unlucky not to get one, marked every good forward out of it this year.

If Donegal were to get two All Stars, the first two names were Mogan and Gallen. But McCole was very close, he was tremendous this year again. Jason McGee was going well till injury struck. But then Michael Langan took the baton and really came into form. If the two of them had been fit they would've been very hard to look past, and we probably would have had Sam in the Hills for the winter.

And with Johnny McGrath and Oisín Conaty securing their All Star Awards, hopefully Ciaran Moore will pick up Young Footballer of the Year.
