Replying To FootballGuy:  "Since 2015 it's been dominance from Naomh Conall. They've been in every final except for 2016 and winning 5 of them. Eunans, Kilcar Glenswilly and GD have only 1 title each in that time. So they have been dominant this last decade."
Yea that's a fair counter argument - I was more referring to when they first arrived with current crop really.

You actually forget how many finals they have contested last 10 years - it's remarkable really.

Replying To Scenicparish:  "Better quality players, your having a laugh. How many County Titles have those better quality players have?
To be considered a better quality player you have to prove it on the big day.
After Eunans beat Naomh Conaill in the 2021 County Final they were expected to dominate for the next 10 years for such a young team."
I think you completely misunderstand my point and your constantly looking for an argument

Stop following me around if it bothers u so much

U literally did by saying your players are over the hill……

Which players for the record do u feel are over the hill ???

Absolute nonsense statment that was

Replying To The keeper:  "Been a while since I was on here and it seems to have got very childish from certain posters, new and old posters.
As regards our name, it's Naomh Conaill. But I am sure everyone knows that with the success we have had the past 20 years, I know it hurts some posters.
As regards favourites, With losing two or three experienced players it could tip the scale towards St Eunans. I hear Ultan Doherty is out for 3 months and Eunan Doherty is overseas, two very experienced players.
But we will put our best foot forward and make no excuses, the players with 7 county medals, all Ireland medals and Ulster medals will and never make excuses, there winners.
And they owe us supporters nothing.

Proud of everyone of them"
Fair play to ya for giving your lads credit and supporting them no matter what and been proud of them.

You 100% should be.

Have a word with the lad in your parish who thinks they are over the hill.

Prob a more recent bandwagon fan who doesn't understand the history.

What a load of nonsense.

It's us and glenties/fintown fault too we have had no sun all summer.

Where do people get this stuff from ??

Is it a jealousy thing ?

Never understand how people actually believe this kind of rubbish pub talk.

People just find a way to be upset at the fact the only 2 contenders are so far ahead of the rest and like to be outraged..

Only 2nd round into championship and Robert Emmets not fielding in a local derby? Something badly wrong there

Robert Emmets not fielding against St. Mary's according to the St. Mary's facebook page. Unsure if there is some extenuating circumstances but it seems very poor form to not field in your second championship game against your neighbors. I'd like to think that there's something outside Emmets control as they've been improving this year with a young side and I think they have the capacity to reach a knockout game this year and give one of the better teams a hard game.

Who is Eoghan McGettigan related to?

Joe and Jack Canning were on Galway Hurling Squad together in 2021.

Emmetts probably afraid to play them and receive another hammering.

You'd hope not given they refused to enter the Junior B again in favor of the Junior A

I was being sarcastic because you wanted a reason why Eunans are Championship favourites. We have players still playing that have 7 County medals and they are still playing. They have been magnificent servants for Naomh Conaill and one of the many reasons for our continued success.

Championship into week 2 some big performances last night. Four masters building nicely. Mc cumhails without gallen big win probably rank them as the best team outside the top 2 at the moment. But the two results that caught my eye was red Hugh's winning in burt and n ultan beating muff well. Delighted for n ultan was reading an article by the muff manager a few weeks ago and by god he was cocky. Forget about league lad championship football is what it's all about..

Was at the Killybegs game and young Mc Ginty and McCormick look like two good people. Sean Mc Cuhails in a good place.

McCumhaills were without Gallen, Bradley-Walsh and Sean Martin, very impressive win for them. Wasn't expecting Naomh Ultan to beat Muff nevermind so comprehensively, perhaps the Junior championship is more wide open than I thought.

Is Muff your own club or are you the Lifford edition?

Naomh Ultan racked up a big score against your own club the week before didn't they?

I think a lot of this Championship will depend on Conor O'Donnells fitness. There isn't much between 3 - 4 teams on their day. But O'Donnell is the ace in the pack. Carn will get to a semi final without him. If he plays that and the final they'll win it.
