Replying To Mugatay:  "Great result. Fairplay for turning it around. Couldn't make it but sounded like a completely different approach.
Its a long shot but not beyond possibility- i may be wrong but:
Beat Carlow by 10pts
WW win/draw v LD
Lon v Antrim draw
WD beat Tipp or Tipp win by less than 5.

If Barry is badly injured then pass no heed to any of the above ."
Too many permutations there, we are going to be a day late and a dollar short but no reason to just treat the Carlow game as a challenge either

Great to hear the youth coming through but at the end of the day surly the likes of Darragh Rooney, Mark Plunkett, Pearse Dolan, Keith Beirne should be pushed every inch to come back into the squad. Imagine a forward line of Prior, Ryan o Rourke, Plunkett, inside line of Rooney Beirne Honeyman/kelly/orourke. We'd be in division 2

Head to heads come into play as far as I know so I'd be thinking Tipperary will scupper any chance of promotion with a win at Waterford. We wouldn't deserve it anyhow but we have lots to work towards for 2027 assuming we keep everyone together.

Didn't make the game yesterday but good to get the win, pity we didn't put in a performance like that in the previous games, but at least a positive performance and result to build on. Looks like this year was a great chance to get promoted as there is so little between most of the teams and everyone taking points off other , next year with Fermanagh and either Limerick and Sligo coming down will be tougher, any word on Barry's injury? Is it the hamstring again?

Plunkett and Dolan are coming back from Australia and will be available.I dont see Darragh Rooney, who was Leitrim's best forward in 2024 coming back.
However it is important to give the young team who have committed a chance to grow together.

Hopefully Longford make it up when we can't, good neighbours.

Great win for us yesterday, will give us a great boost going to Carlow on Sunday. Hopefully we can finish the league on a high on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing the u17 and u20s line out in the Connacht championship over the next few weeks, hoping it will be a successful campaign for both. Our u20s should be strong with the senior contingent back, is there any other young exciting players to watch out for ?

I agree Darragh Rooney was just beginning to show his potential. We cant be losing players of that calibre. I have to mention Keith Keegan I see he made his 30th appearance for Leitrim against Longford. He should be on 100 appearances plus appearances at this stage of his career , what a warrior he is, its great to have him playing now its just unfortunate he wasn't brought in or couldn't commit years ago.

It may seem odd, but I'm hoping we don't go up this year.
We have a very young panel and I think they will be ate alive in Division 3.
We have being improving in league form over the 2 years Solan has being in charge.
I'd be hoping to aim for promotion next year.....easier said than done!

Great win for Leitrim. At the start of the league, I would have fancied ye to beat Longford, but not with what has happened over the past few weeks, so a great, but somewhat surprising win, particularly the margin. Div. 4 has been tumultuous but extremely entertaining, with the many possible promotion permutations till up in the air.

It's hard to credit that Leitrim stands as 31 out of the 32 counties in Ireland, particularly with 3 wins under yer belt. But that's the reality. The league table doesn't like.

And well done to Roscommon as well. They're definitely there as one of the TOP 6 teams in the country for another while.
