Replying To letsgetgoing:  "The proposed schedule for Dublins league games are discussed in today's Irish Times. All their home league matches will be double headers with Meath who will play there division 2 home matches also in Croke Park.
Dublins home games: Donegal, Monaghan, Armagh.

The assumption can therefore be made that Roscommon will play Dublin in the Hyde. Dublin will also be away to Mayo and Galway. (Not sure about Dublin v Kerry)

Hopefully we will get the full schedule for all the Roscommon games very shortly.

PS: I was at the division 1 & 2 league finals in Croke Park on 30th March. Can't understand why it takes over 7 months to agree fixtures when the teams for all four divisions are known since last March. For example the match schedule for the 2027 men's rugby world cup in Australia will be announced in February 2026 and tickets available shortly after. 18 MONTHS before the event. Why can't the GAA be as efficient?"
Dradt fixtures have to go to County Boards for observations etc.
Those voluntary bodies will be quite busy running Club Championships August/September/October.

Why not agree the National League fixtures during April/May/June?

2026 league fixtures. We were due 4 home games after having 4 away games the last two years. Home form will likely decide if we can stay up.

Jan 24/25: Kerry (A)
Jan 31/Feb 1: Monaghan (H)
Feb 14/15: Armagh (H)
Feb 21/22: Galway (A)
Feb 28/Mar 1: Dublin (H)
Mar 14/15: Donegal (H)
Mar 22: Mayo (A)

Thanks Analyser. Now we can start filling up the 2026 diary.

For what it is worth, I hope that the Armagh (h), Galway (a) and Donegal (h) matches are all played on the Sunday in order not to have a clash with Ireland playing their six nations matches on the Saturday's (14th/21st v England/14th).
If not; hopefully the playing times will not clash.
Just a thought!

A huge ask but getting the All Ireland champs first is possibly the best time to get them. The first two home games are tough but are winnable. Do you throw the kitchen sink at the first 4 games and hope to get enough points on the board to stay up?

So many other factors, weather, will St Brigids still be involved in club championship, injuries across the squad. Would love to see Brigids go on a serious run and win a Connacht and an AI but the selfish part of me thinks it could be good for Roscommon if Ballina knock them out. Get them in with Mark and new management team early on. Or does it provide an opportunity to try more players out and grow the squad.

Maybe we should ask the IRFU for permission to play our games!!
Our home games will no doubt be on Sundays as they've always been.
Galway and Mayo (if their lights are fixed) likely Saturday nights.
Everyone seems to have it that Killarney is the venue for the Kerry game which means a Sunday.
