Comer & Walsh are rarely available and Galway need to concentrate on who they have available PJ even has stated this but I definitely take your point not sure what the S&C or sports science aspect is but we do alwaysa seem to have a fair amount of muscle injuries. In my opinion it is a bonus to have a Comer or Walsh comer expecially to play some part.

Perhaps Mayo Co Board will make Kobe an offer he can't refuse, some sort of signing bonus arrangement to eleviate any short term salary cap issues.

Haha you're deluded if you think there was 7 pages all about Kobe. You have too much time on your hands. I'm delighted though to see a galway boy supporting a Mayo local paper Cumann1 (Mayo) - Posts: 126 - 26/02/2026 12:12:44 2658712 Link 1 |

The Western People isn't a local paper for you. Do you read all the local papers from all the counties that neighbour galway? Cumann1 (Mayo) - Posts: 126 - 26/02/2026 12:37:38 2658727 Link 1 |

They usually play much better away from home for whatever reason. But a big ask to beat Donegal on home turf at the moment. Even though rumour is that Jim will be rotating a few of his starters this weekend. They'll still have a good team out.

I don't think we can rest many on Sunday, we are already without Shaun Patton, Daire O'Bhaoil, Ciarán Thompson and major doubts over Ciarán Moore and Shane O'Donnell. Safe journey and if you are coming via Sligo take the old Bundoran road to Ballyshannon, go off at the 2nd roundabout on the Bundoran bypass. The Ballyshannon club (Aodh Ruadh) have set up extensive car parking as you come into the town in free car parks that are easy to exit afterwards. These are about a 5 to 10min walk to the pitch. Will we see your all stars who've been missing lately McDaid, Silke, Comer, Daly, Walsh or Conroy.

We have a few forced changes with injuries this week anyway, I expect more of the squad will get a chance to show their stuff now we are safe in Div 1, we have a great record in Ballyshannon though I can't wait till Mac Cumhaill park in Ballybofey is playable again. Should be a full house again on Sunday, capacity is something like 9000 in Ballyshannon. Tirchonaill1 (Donegal) - Posts: 3716 - 26/02/2026 21:39:07 2658808 Link 0 |

Had Donegal beaten in Pearse Stadium this time last year in the 1st half when leading 0-17 to no score. A lot will depend on how serious Jim will approach this game with 8 points and Division 1 status secured. Galways need is greater for this game and are well capable of beating Donegal again
