Minor A final had some fantastic football on show on Sunday, Fair play to both teams. Game was in the melting pot near the end, red card for Oranmore and a couple of wides for Claregalway but Oranmore finished strongly with last couple of scores. Good number of u16s involved in it so you imagine the 2 clubs could dominate Galway Minors next year. Saw second half of the B final. Others there said it was a good first half. Barna looked Athletic and Strong and also finished well with last few scores. Anyone know if they have potential Minors for next year ? Don't know anything about Headfird but was surprised that Tuam didn't win the North Board B.

Based on U16 this year and of course last year's U15, Mícheál Breathnach have had the better of both Oranmore and Claregalway, so I'd imagine they'll have plenty representatives on the county minor panel next year.

Thats very true. I heard that's an exceptional Breathnachs team so I'm sure they will have to be well represented. Was told Caherlistrane have a strong u16 team aswell so we could have a Minor panel next year that's strongly populated by 4 or 5 clubs.
