Can't believe what I am hearing about the 6 in a row Dublin team. Regardless of the standard of the rest of the country there is a reason why 6 in a row has not been done before, an exceptional outfit, the best of all time imo.

Yeah they were unreal - crazy saying they only won due to lack of competitive teams - they consistantly blew fantastic teams out of it

Yes and now as the years go by some people think it was six in a row Dublin team that blew teams away in All Ireland finals.

Replying To WanPintWin:  "Mayo for sure. Kerry's only really close effort was in 2019, but they played over half the match with an extra man and still couldn't get it done.
When it was back to 15 v 15 in the replay, the Dubs kept them at arms length. Mayo tested that Dublin team to a much greater degree in finals."
2015 final was there to be won also. As was the 2016 All Ireland semi final, Dublin won the match with two points deep into added time. Kerry I bet will have much regrets about those games same with the 2019 final when they had the extra man.

Replying To endgame:  "Masters at it. Never lost a Final and won the 2011 Final by a point, 2013 Final by a point, 2016 Final by a point after a replay and the 2017 Final by a point. Not a lucky Dublin team but a team that knew how to get it done in a tight finish. Mayo had a better team in 2016/2017 than in 2021. We're only giving opinions here but is it reasonable to think that the Mayo 2016 team would have beaten Tyrone in 2021. Overall as a Connacht man I'm disappointed with the near losses and with Galway's 1 point defeat in the Final last year because I really don't know where Connacht's next All Ireland title is coming from. Connacht teams have won just 2 Senior All Ireland Football titles in nearly 60 years. It's a shocking record for our province."
Fine line between masters of winning finals by narrow a margin and getting the rub of the green to do so. Starting with the 2011 final that ended their "famine" A clear foul on Kerry player that would have been scorable free just before Cluxton scored that winner.

Was it drawn final with Mayo that a Dublin player with seconds to go picked the ball off the ground which would have given Mayo a tap over free to win it? Four Senior All Ireland football titles in 60 years all from Galway (65,66,98,01) not enough from Connacht teams as your main point suggests.
