Yep!!

Not with everyone. Think the lad was just ranking his own rankings

Replying To Pope_Benedict:  "Mannion isn't that easy to pin down. He 'only' scored 0-6 from play, and he's done that and more in the past, versus the likes of Cork, KK, Tipp and Dublin."
Exactly. So why didn't we get a lad to follow him?

You were better on the day for sure.

Katser would never allow his observations to be sullied by the irrelevance and/or inconvenience of actually watching games though

You'll never see anything from him on that front

Replying To Overdahill:  "I do think the observation that Mannion being slowed down would go a long way to stopping us, but I do get a chuckle when i hear fans say thing like "they will have a plan for X player". It's not as easy as just getting a good back to man amrk someone like Cathal. No doubt Wexfgord had a plan for him, it just didn't work at all. Like we had a plan for Henry Shefflin in 2012, sometimes it doesn't work but I very much doubt Keith Rossiter went out without a specific plant o deal with GAlway's best palyer. Maybe Dublin will have a better plan!"
Indeed, quite possibly Dublin will have a better plan. Cutting out supply of ball to him would be one such plan and you wouldnt need to be Einstein to come up with it.

Replying To Viking66:  "It was always going to depend on who turned up. You did, we were slightly off. But it was still a close enough game for most of it. Every time we came back to within a point or 2 in the second half your lads got the critical next scores. The losing of the game for us was how we played in the 1st half though, we just didn't play the conditions. We needed to be 5 or 6 up at halftime, not 4 down."
Yeah, if yee were 10up instead of 10down at the finish, ye'd have won it. You're assessment is delusional.

Galway aren't very good, but they're better than Wexford right now, and have proven this in 2025 NHL, and 2025 championship.

There is a sense of excitement building around the County and the importance of beating Dublin and carrying that momentum into the Leinster Final where as most people I've spoken too are saying when we get a crack at Kilkenny again we will beat them.

Kilkenny 2-21 0-17 Dublin FT

When you consider that this is a KK team predominantly made up of their 2022 minors who didn't even make a LF, and their 2023 minors who were beaten out the gate by Galway's in the LF, it's pretty sobering for us that a team made up largely of pretty unheralded players were able to comfortably dispatch a team who in turn comfortably dispatched us a week ago at U20.

Not that we needed any further signs as last week gave us all the evidence we needed but it's time for something different, for sure.

He's certainly not talking to the ordinary Galway hurling folk as he claims, that type of bs is not their style or the style of any hurling folk in the country.

Put your chips on the plate and give us you honorable prediction for Dublin v Galway.
You like the odd bet, so what's it going to be??
Let me guess....you won't risk Dublin at 9/5 but will take Dublin-2 handicap at 11/10!!!
We will see then what the "fairys" will think!
F.Y.I, I will be taking Galway to win and +2 handicap.

I for one don't particularly mind your overconfidence but I think you have your plusses and minuses mixed up

Fantastic observation and well worthy of a response from me.
I stand corrected.

£5 - Dublin 1-3 Points 9/2 Potential returns £27.50
£3 - Dublin 4-6 Points 8/1 Potential returns £27.00
£2 - Dublin 7-9 Points 13/1 Potential returns £28.00

A better return than putting £10 on the win at 2/1. Assuming they don't win by more than 9 points.
All prices from Paddy Power.
