Yes it's fantastic. Looking forward to seeing them in action up there, they have come a long way.

Was at the under-20 game, incidentally they have a few from the Gorey CS contingent to come back in, but a few lads stood out today. Ruarí O'Brien was lively inside and tucked away a nice goal, Lyne and Berry in the corners were solid and encouraged to go forward at will, and I thought Ciaran Regan was excellent. Conor Kinsella was very prominent and busy too, credit to the lad after losing his father last week. It was a nice gesture from the management to afford him a round of applause with his late substitution.

It's ludicrous, with the football championship penciled in to start in August/September or whenever, that they decide to start a ACFL with no relegation permutations in a couple of weeks time. What's the point of playing it with such a gap to the real stuff anyway?

They are actually starting earlier now than they ever did when at least you'd have a league fixture or two a week before championship to get up to speed. Give lads the St.Patrick's Weekend off at least. I know of some clubs that haven't even finalised their management ticket, never mind gone back training.

I do think too an effort should have been made to leave the Saturday free of Gorey CS's All-Ireland final (but no, a round of meaningless league matches are fixed instead)- the situation wouldn't arise if it was St.Peter's or Counsel.

Well is that not a direct result of the split championship and two groups of six?
How long does it mean someone will go without kicking a ball in anger before the championship ?
Any fixtures posted anywhere ?

Kilanerin and Tara Rocks happen every year due to arrangement between the clubs, alot of Wexford town transfers is pretty consistent with other years.

Brian Dignam is over Taghmons hurlers and footballers this year. From Tipp originally. Kicked football for Kilanerin and Crossabeg hurled for Crossabeg also. The hurlers are back training and said he had some new ideas. Do you know much more about him as regards coaching experience Stmunnsriver?

Looks like Eoghan O'Gara is finally transferring to the Shels after the rumours a couple of years ago.

Is it true Castletown and Kilanerin appointed Anthony Masterson and Matty Forde to their backroom teams?
Great to see these lads putting it back into their clubs.

True about Masterson. As far as I know though, there was some form of falling out in Kilanerin with how last year went and Matty is actually helping out Bunclody.
