Yes you are 100% correct in what you are saying regarding alcohol, the only thing I will add to that is that there is one substance in particular and which the Irish are one of the highest consumers in Europe which is causing untold damage to society. It's not only the alcohol which can make some people violent. AfricanGael (UK) - Posts: 1947 - 23/07/2021 10:48:58 2363101 Link 1 |

Yea, a lot can change in a few weeks not to mind a few months…..finally I think standards a leveling out a bit, not necessarily by the pack catching up but a few of the leaders dropping back a bit.

Had a busy few weeks since this game and didn't get to post much. After the first water break is what killed us, there was two big calls a peno not given that should have been and one given that wasn't, but that's football, us in Meath don't really complain about them. I do feel Andy made a huge mistake in not introducing Newman when we had got it back to 3, I'm gonna go a bit off track here. But I feel the ref at that stage would have offered a peno to Meath if anything had happened. Ie a few long balls in from James Mac a hand on back of Newman and down on ground. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 05/08/2021 09:05:21 2367829 Link 0 |
