Avon, you know what I'm saying is true and I will be proved right in the next 6 weeks when dublin win number 7 and what will ye say then? Going by what I see here day in day out it'll be the fault of the country teams for not having the same money home advantage or home town reffs as ye. Realdub, we might not even make it to the allireland final not to mind romp home. Rhudson, dublin Joe can be just as lethal as a linesman believe me. A try?, It has to be touched down for a try, maybe it should have been a knock-on?

Do you want to bet?? I said before I'd leave 100eu in any pub from Blennervile (Quanes) to Camp (Ashes) if Dublin win. C'mon, what d'ye say?

Will ya stop, your only trying to keep a wayinin Dublin team on a pedestal so you can gloat from a great hight . If you were a book I'd put you down after a few pages, your fooling no one boy.

Íl have a bet with you Avon but not money as it makes it more awkward, how about if Kerry win then il leave the main forum I'd be gone for good , but if dublin win which they will then you and jimbo and multiple username leave the main forum. Get back to me on it. KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 19/07/2021 16:23:11 2361790 Link 1 |
Now you know this is never going to happen ;) I mean you could put Dublin Joe, Dublin David G and Dublin David C in charge and these Kerry boys would still complain about not getting a fair shake. It must be tiring carrying such a huge boulder around on his shoulder, i'd say the lad is like Quasimodo getting into bed... Imagine the effort it takes to drag every thread down to the same thing over and over again, and it doesn't even involve the team you follow in anyways shape or form brian (Meath) - Posts: 1982 - 19/07/2021 16:26:57 2361795 Link 13 |
You don't follow Dublin (in fact they're your counties arch rivals, or at least they used to be when ye didn't consider a 6 point defeat a moral victory),, but you're always getting involved in these debates too???

I'll take that bet!

Is that you there multiple username Kingdom Boy, are you and this account involved in this bet about leaving the forum for good..... As i said the topic of the discussion is Meath v Dublin, which I'm trying to discuss but as usual multiple poster KB has to drag it somewhere else If you knew or read any of my posts you'd know I'm sick to my stomach about yesterdays defeat, we don't do moral victories in Meath, you win or lose. It's quite simple. You won't find any Meath person taking a moral victory out of yesterday, its not been and never will be our style. That doesn't mean we can't congratulate our neighbours and fiecest rivals on their victory. Better team on the day and good luck to them, we have a more mature outlook on things here and wish them well. The only people speaking about moral victories and peddling that line are the likes of you and your multiple accounts. brian (Meath) - Posts: 1982 - 19/07/2021 17:09:38 2361824 Link 14 |
Just the one account, and as I said before anyone who is that emotionally invested in an anonymous GAA forum to have set up 2 or more accounts, well that's beyond tragic,so so sad,, frankly I sometimes chide myself just for setting up the one I have. My point was that you can't call out kb for consistently getting involved in threads that don't involve his own county when you do the exact same. Sure that's not a bet, when you have absolutely zero risk of losing, bloody hell, I've heard it all now. :-)

Your point is badly made. I don't interact with the poster at all, i make reference to his continued dragging of every single thread off topic. Discuss the point of the topic at hand, i.e. Meath v Dublin and stop dragging everything down to said posters issues with Dublin. Maybe it would be good if he and his multiple accounts went off into some echo chamber and discussed amongst his multiple personalities the issues he has. The topic is Meath v Dublin, discuss the game, the events there in and take it from there. Who's post included the below.... Avon, you know what I'm saying is true and I will be proved right in the next 6 weeks when dublin win number 7 and what will ye say then? Going by what I see here day in day out it'll be the fault of the country teams for not having the same money home advantage or home town reffs as ye. The same topics of funding, home venue and referee's rinse repeat and discuss ad naseum in every single thread. It seems the person most offended by yesterday's result was self same poster. But yet as usual its the same mudslinging stuff over and over. When people try talking about the game they can't get a proper word in edge ways. brian (Meath) - Posts: 1982 - 19/07/2021 18:34:56 2361864 Link 14 |
Brian. Do you see positives for Meath football after their performance yesterday?
MicktheMiller (Offaly) - Posts: 421 - 19/07/2021 18:57:01 2361876 Link 0 |
I'm fairly sure that some of the threads that you became so passionately involved in were to do directly with the issue of Dublins alleged extra funding. Hardly going off topic then is it? I don't know why it's even been debated here anymore,, you guys are never gonna agree with one another. Galway9801 (Galway) - Posts: 1942 - 19/07/2021 19:40:45 2361894 Link 0 |
It's positive that we played better than expected, it's also positive that maybe this Dublin teams cycle is past its peak (this is not certain but is a possibility) maybe in the future the Leinster championship can be competitive again (if this happens might be easier to get more players to commit in future). But with no back door there is no way to build on a better performance than expected. It's a long time until our next competitive game.

Good first half performance from Du6lin, beautiful scores and capped off with yet another Con thunder bolt. (Hardly a mention of it) He's simply deadly given a sniff. What a finish off his left.. love it. jimbodub (Dublin) - Posts: 20763 - 19/07/2021 19:53:36 2361902 Link 5 |
It is not long ago since at least 7 of your team rugby tackled Mayo players in the AI final with no foul committed! - a great skill to have. How much training went into that. Your teams get more expenses to run your fleet of buses than the Leitrim receives to prepare their county team.
