You can't argue for a second with the logic behind the keep ball tactic, it makes perfect sense strategically, but it looks awful, I mean really awful, it renders the game unwatchable. I couldn't give a monkeys about gaelic football being a "results business" as many call it, if this tactic catches on, and teams start doing it not for the last 10 minutes, but conceivably for half the game,or once they build up a 5 point lead after 10 minutes, the game is finished as a spectacle. Let's hope meath can start to close gap ,stay in this game as long as possible ,im sure something is changing inside the dublin team and it's not only kerry / mayo & donegal who will fancy a good go at them with good chance of winning, monaghan tyrone &maybe Kildare/ Galway can join in .. Ah Jim you're caught again forgetting to log out :-) the catch got caught. And to answer your earlier question jim, I know as much about hurling as you do about football, remember last year when you said Donegal would hammer Cavan in the Ulster final :-) KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 18/07/2021 10:28:01 2360975 Link 0 |
The lad knows more about Dublin then he does about Kerry, i dont think ive ever seen post about Kerry to be honest. I mean it was the sunniest day of the year yesterday, not far off it today and hes in a Dublin and Meath (Leinster Semi Final) thread talking about Dublin on Sky Sports. We've created one of those terrible beauties. When you are the appex predator you can let everyone fret about you without worrying about anyone else. QED above. Anyway, sunny day, Corker and a bag full of beer, we're back! ;) TheUsername (Dublin) - Posts: 4516 - 18/07/2021 11:23:42 2360988 Link 4 |
Meath to keep within 2/3 points of Dublin for the first 35 minutes and then Dublin take off and enf up winning by 10/15 points Ronan1989 (Donegal) - Posts: 81 - 18/07/2021 15:49:35 2361069 Link 0 |

Meath 10 points behind after 26 minutes.... Ronan1989 (Donegal) - Posts: 81 - 18/07/2021 17:01:59 2361115 Link 2 |
Dublin 10 points up already. Will there be a national outcry like last week? It's one thing to worry about Leitrim but Meath are a traditional football powerhouse and are so far behind Dublin playing in 3rd gear here. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11564 - 18/07/2021 17:02:28 2361117 Link 10 |
