Replying To Viking66:  "Did you watch the game? Or their game against us? They have some serious hurlers on that team. You are starting to sound like some Tipp fans running down other counties teams with no basis in fact."
I only watched the 1st half because I'd Club training at 8pm...from what I saw it looked like Galway hadn't got motoring and were too loose in the backs!
Then word got out that Galway had lost and the whole place couldn't believe it!!
Hopefully Galway u20's will win it next year!

Replying To katser:  "Most people including the bookies expected Galway to win comfortably and in fairness it wouldn't be difficult to be good against Wexford! I'm still in shock over that freak result...its just one of these flash in the pan results that can happen the best of us! Galway we're only playing in 2nd gear and still could have won it.
It's back to the Seniors and hopefully start with a Leinster and League double, then push on for the All Ireland........
But it will take a huge effort from Galway to win all 3!"
Galway were only playing in second gear - why do you think that? Because they lost? And if so were they just dumb and decided to play second gear the whole game as it was clear after 15 mins Dublin were a match for them.

Only 200 allowed into the Clare Waterford game and 2400 allowed into the Limerick Cork game a week latter. This whole thing is gone beyond ridiculous.

Has to be said Katser you are nothing if not positive about the team you follow you are a proper supporter. Just dont get why you get lads on these forums downing their own team or management before a ball is even pucked. Plenty of time to be disappointed after losing I just dont get people who seem to want to feel that way the whole time. Why bother supporting a team at all? And yes I'll give 60 euro to Galway County Board for a tray of 6 when you dont win it!

Staying in line with your user name Canuck, the Montreal Canadiens were only allowed 3500 in the arena but there were about 30,000 celebrating outside the arena when they won their semi final round in the Hockey playoffs. Love to meet the people who make these decisions.

Can't believe the positivity coming from the Laois camp and a lot of the supporters everyone I've been talking to about the game in wexford this evening is saying that the yellow bellies are there for the taking. I'm absolutely baffled at why this optimism is gone through the roof as I think it's going to be a massacre in wexford Park and I can't see Laois getting within 15 points boy I hope they're right and I'm wrong.

Thats correct dancing and hugging. If you looked at the coverage from New York there was a big sign that said you must have a mask to ENTER the stadium. Once inside you could do what you like and few were wearing masks.
Next Saturday it is 10 times more save in Semple Stadium than it is this Sunday ? The people making these decisions have lost all credibility and god help us when another crisis occurs. No one will comply with any regulations because of the b.s. and lies that were given. The spin doctors can spin it anyway they like but you need to be stupid to swallow it.

Nobody expected much from Antrim this year yet in their first League match they opened eyes. You never know maybe this is the Laois match that opens eyes.

It would be nice if their was a basis for that positivity but hard to see it. Perhaps neither the very positive nor your very pessimistic (though reasonable) view will come to pass. The handicap is +12 so if there's any basis for the optimisme perhaps they'll beat that.

Dublin beat Antrim by 18 points. Surprised at the margin.

At the end of the day, you can take the League results with a grain of salt. It means nothing when it comes to the Championship.
