Happy New Year. Perhaps, admin could do a bit also to encourage less of this. It's a bit like issuing a black card when a couple of reds would be more effective. Dubh_linn (Dublin) - Posts: 2313 - 03/01/2020 15:43:41 2257118 Link 4 |

"Cheap shots" or as I call them "Tadgh Kennellys" Breffni40 (Cavan) - Posts: 12367 - 03/01/2020 17:07:03 2257137 Link 16 |
Good forward and backward banter is great. There are many good discussions about many things including controversies. Personally I lose interest when it gets personal or a thread is taking over by some thing never intended. Like the Dublin Kerry sniping. It is an insult to all other counties and smacks of there is no one else matters only us. No issue with anyone supporting their own county but keep it in context and definitely don't put innuendo out there about any players, coaches teams etc. Canuck (Waterford) - Posts: 3061 - 03/01/2020 18:02:39 2257152 Link 2 |

Banter is fine but some of the accusations against players and money on this site borders on libel. Breezy (Limerick) - Posts: 1236 - 03/01/2020 19:45:49 2257169 Link 10 |

Thanks for yere work. Any update on if site will get an update. What about adopting a yellow/red card infringement system like other forums do. Not necessarily one yellow then a red but just look how other forums do it and then adapt to whatever way you like KillingFields (Limerick) - Posts: 3758 - 03/01/2020 23:18:46 2257217 Link 3 |

There should be a site feedback thread set up where we can converse with the admin and moderators and if there are posters who are moderator this should be made known when they post items too. the_ayatollah (Leitrim) - Posts: 6 - 04/01/2020 14:06:24 2257282 Link 1 |
Happy New year all, fair enough cheap shots and personal attacks should be called out and not tolerated but lets not stifle debate either. Posters should be able to express their views and opinions and debate others however unpopular they might be as long they keep it some bit respectful and without insults to others. Things I would like to see are named admins and a way to be notified if and why your post has been blocked. Also to be able to check the posters of green and red thumbs Breezy (Limerick) - Posts: 1236 - 04/01/2020 20:03:16 2257376 Link 2 |
It appears on some county forums all a poster has to do is ask someone to be banned and it happens. Obviously there should be an email explanation as to why you would get banned. If there are moderators banning people indiscriminately their mod rights should be stripped from them. I'd agree with a yellow card system on posts as long as a good explanation was given for the card.
