I was being sarcastic.I just find it funny how many people in Ireland are just waiting fro a chance to blame the GAA for something.
Judging by kildare folk on here this is a non story anyway and the lad from the Curragh races seems to be pretty friendly about it.
As for adults having to choose which leisure activity to go do on a Saturday well poor them and their first world problems.

GAA have been waiting in the long grass after the new bridge or nowhere debacle last summer.
There not going to appease Kildare in any way shape of form.
What goes around etc..

I dont rate being from Kildare higher than the abiity to tell the time, fine county though it is. Your mileage may vary. Another 20 pages and the penny might drop ;-)

Only difference from last year is that it's a 5pm throw in which isn't a problem instead of a 7pm throw in which isn't a problem.

The problem will be traffic congestion, access/egress and the racing has been set in stone for months. Poor organisation/thinking to put gaelic on at this time. Football should move.
