Donegal giants St Eunan’s are on the lookout for a new senior football manager following Barry Meehan’s departure after two years in charge.

Meehan steered the Letterkenny club to county senior championship glory 12 months ago when they defeated Dungloe in the final to record a first Dr Maguire Cup success in three years.

Last month saw St Eunan’s dethroned by Termon after extra time, which proved to be Meehan's last game in charge.

“Barry and his backroom team have served the club with distinction, demonstrating exceptional dedication, leadership, and professionalism throughout their tenure,” the club said in a statement.

“We are especially proud of Barry’s journey through the club to date - from his involvement at underage level to guiding our senior team to championship success in 2024. His deep connection to the club has been evident every step of the way.

“We wish Barry and his management team every success in their future endeavours and hope to see them back on the sidelines at O'Donnell Park in the not-too-distant future.”
