Donegal and Armagh have each been fined €7,500 arising the fracas which marred the end of this year's Ulster SFC final.

Gardaí and stewards were forced to intervene after the brawl involving players and substitutes from both teams erupted just after the final whistle in Clones, and as supporters of all ages entered the pitch.

Now, almost five months later, the case has finally been closed after the CCCC had initially proposed €7,500 fines for 'disruptive conduct by players' (Rule 7.2d 3). However, both parties requested a CHC hearing which didn't take place until last Friday.

The CHC upheld the decision and both counties will now have to accept their punishment, unless they appeal the decision to the CAC. Video evidence that could have led to individual suspensions was not considered as it was not from official broadcasters.
