Defending champions Cork were reduced to 14 players on the eve of half-time in today’s All-Ireland senior camogie final against Galway.
After having had a Katrina Mackey penalty saved, the Rebels conceded a Mairead Dolan goal midway through the first-half to fall two points behind the Tribeswomen.
It’d get worse for the holders when key midfielder Hannah Looney was red-carded in first-half injury-time for lashing out at Galway skipper Carrie Dolan (watch the incident below).
Last year’s runners-up would go on to take in a 1-9 to 0-7 lead at the half.
