Niall Ó Ceallacháin was delighted to lead Na Fianna to a maiden All-Ireland club SHC title before focusing solely on managing Dublin.

"It's superb for the club. Our first Leinster, first All-Ireland, first of a lot of things, first county last year,” he told RTÉ after a dominant performance against Cork's Sarsfields at Croke Park.

"It's super for Na Fianna, also super for Dublin. We know we can compete at any level and we will.

“Just look around here, at the membership of Na Fianna, the kids, the families, everyone supporting our lads over so many years, that's culminated in a day like today, it means so much to a hell of a lot of people."

The new Dublin manager intends enjoying the celebrations before switching his thoughts to next Saturday’s Allianz League Division 1B opener against Antrim at the same venue.

"It's been busy but as I've said before, it's not all about me, it's about the support teams that are there with both teams," he continued.

"We'll enjoy this for a day or two. We're very much looking forward to (the Allianz League), there's a great bunch there that I'm looking forward to throwing all my lot in with them."
