Errigal Ciaran cruised into the quarter-finals of the Tyrone senior football championship last night thanks to a 0-17 to 0-9 win over Killyclogher at Healy Park.
Ruairi Canavan led the way for the holders in Omagh with 0-7 over the hour, while Tommy Canavan and Darragh Canavan combined for half a dozen points.
The victors led by 0-7 to 0-4 at the halfway stage and in the second-half it was Ruairi and Tommy Canavan that steered them clear with some deadly accurate shooting in front of goal.
Mark Bradley and Conor McCann did their best to keep Killyclogher in the contest, but there’d be no denying Errigal Ciaran on this occasion as they kept their back-to-back hopes firmly alive.
