It was a cracking first-half in today’s hugely anticipated All-Ireland SFC semi-final between Dublin and Mayo at Croke Park.
After Connacht side had settled in well, this goal from Colm Basquel on 18 minutes (see it below) shot the Dubs into a 1-3 to 0-4 lead.
Kevin McStay’s charges recovered well from the blow with points via Tommy Conroy, Ryan O’Donoghue (2) and Aidan O’Shea before the capital men took in a 1-6 to 0-8 half-time lead thanks to James McCarthy’s point.
