Derry made their goals count in a 3-14 to 1-15 win against neighbours Donegal in Ballybofey this afternoon.
The result sees the Ulster champions sitting joint-top with Monaghan in Group 4 on three points, with Donegal on two and bottom-placed Clare now knocked out with a round remaining.
Having led by 0-9 to 0-6 at the interval, all three of Derry’s goals came in the second-half and they saw Conor Doherty, Lachlan Murray and Paudie McGrogan all finding the home side’s net, sealing the Oak Leafers’ first win of the All-Ireland SFC round-robin stage.
