Ciaran McKeever has refuted Oisin McConville’s claim that Armagh have become more defensive this year.
The Orchard County endured a tough spring campaign which culminated in relegation to Division 2 of the Allianz Football League and need to pick themselves up quickly for an Ulster SFC preliminary round clash with Antrim on Saturday week.
"I don't think so. If you look at any of our games last year, we set up exactly the same way," the Armagh coach and selector told the BBC when questioned on the matter at the Ulster SFC launch earlier this week.
"We probably were just a little bit more efficient with the ball in hand last year.
"We showed glimpses of that against Tyrone (on Sunday) and in the first half of the game against Roscommon and in Kerry. We just haven't been at it for 70 minutes yet but we'll get there.”Tweet
