Dublin GAA fans are lamenting the decision by The Herald newspaper to discontinue its Dublin GAA supplement.
The supplement had been a must-read for Dublin supporters every Tuesday for decades. Its reporters Niall Scully and Ronan MacLochlainn covered the local GAA scene from top to bottom, while the Dublin Bus/Evening Herald Dubs Stars football and hurling games were well-attended every Christmas.
So sad to hear that The Herald's Dublin GAA supplement on Tuesdays has been discontinued. I've had 15 wonderful years being involved and have loved every minute of it. Many thanks to all those that helped me and I'm eternally grateful for the friendships I have made. Up the Dubs

This is a huge loss to the Dub GAA family, especially to @CamogieDublin. Niall Scully and @RnnMacLochlainn both deserve huge credit for years spent reporting on Dub camogie & LGFA before anyone else. 👏 Really sorry to see this decision from @EveningHerald https://t.co/D6julEghHT

TweetDisappointing news for GAA fans in Dublin. Even in this online age, lots of people bought the Herald on Tuesdays for match reports, photos, features, fixtures, tables and club notes. https://t.co/mZ1dJKAxca
