New Dublin hurling manager Micheál Donoghue is set to be without two key players for his first season in charge.
There are reports this week that both Chris Crummey and Cian O’Callaghan will not be part of the capital men’s panel in 2023 due to travel commitments.
Crummey has been one of the stand out players for Dublin in recent years, while Cuala clubman O’Callaghan was vice captain this past season.
There is better news for Donoghue with regards to 2022 captain Eoghan O’Donnell as he is set to return to the squad for next season.
O’Donnell linked up with the county’s senior footballers this past summer, making an appearance off the bench in the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final win over Cork, following the hurlers’ early championship exit.
