Fans make there way into Walsh Park for the Munster SHC clash between Waterford and Clare
Waterford Camogie is in mourning following the passing of Jean O'Loughlin.
The young woman, who played camogie and ladies football with St Anne's, is survived by her parents Paul and Pauline, brother Ben, grandmother Josie, uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. Jean's remains will arrive at Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Kill tomorrow (Tuesday) for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.
Waterford Camogie and Waterford LGFA have both paid tribute to Jean.
"Waterford Camogie are deeply saddened on hearing of the untimely passing of Jean O’Loughlin," Waterford Camogie said.
"We extend our deepest sympathy to Jean’s parents, Pauline & Paul, her brother Ben, her extended family & all her clubmates at St Anne’s Camogie and Football Clubs.
"Rest in peace Jean."
Waterford LGFA also tweeted yesterday: "As a mark of respect for the late Jean O'Loughlin of @StAnnesCamogLgf a minute's silence will be observed at the Senior Final today.
"Our condolences to Jean's family, friends, & clubmates. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam."
