Diarmuid O'Sullivan has hit out at the former Cork players who criticised Kieran Kingston during his time as manager.
Kingston brought the curtain down on his second spell as manager yesterday, having previously held the role in 2016 and '17. O'Sullivan, who served as a selector under Kingston for the past three years, took to social media last night to say he was "proud" to have worked alongside him before taking a swipe at the former players who "scrutinised" the outgoing manager in the national media.
"Scrutinised to the extreme by those who wore red, stood on the line as red so they could remain relevant through various media outlets. When they walk the walk!!" 'The Rock' wrote.
TweetIncredible proud to stand with Kieran over the last 3 yrs. Thank you for everything and staying true to your vision.
