Antrim ladies football stars Caitlin and Aoife Taggart have been wished a speedy recovery after they were involved in a car crash last weekend.

The sisters were on their way to county training in Belfast when the crash occurred, leaving Aoife with a dislocated shoulder and Caitlin with cuts and bruises. Both players will miss the Saffrons’ upcoming National League opener against Derry, but hope to return to action soon.

“Antrim LGFA would like to wish a speedy recovery to our Senior Ladies Players, Caitlin and Aoife Taggart, after they were in a car accident on their way to county training. Wishing you both a speedy recovery and hope to see you both back soon,” an Antrim LGFA Facebook post read.
