Patrick Horgan has been cleared to play for Glen Rovers in Sunday's Cork SHC semi-final against Sarsfields after having his suspension overturned.
The Cork sharpshooter received a straight red card in the 23rd minute of his club's narrow quarter-final win over Imokilly, but was exonerated following a personal hearing last night.
The news is a huge boost for Glen Rovers who are hoping to make amends for their 2019 and 2020 county final defeats to Imokilly and Blackrock respectively. The Glen Rovers-Sarsfields semi-final at 3.15pm will be preceded at 1.30pm by the other last-four tie between holders Blackrock and Midleton at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
