Mayo GAA has announced the appointment of Kieran Kilkenny as the county’s new Performance Games Development Administrator.
The Ballindine native will be responsible for the implementation of specific GAA Games Development Policy and work to deliver set goals and objectives for all Mayo GAA activity within the county.
He will organise, develop and monitor programmes in Physical Fitness, Nutrition and Performance Analysis for the Mayo Inter-County teams, Underage teams, Talent Academies and Clubs.
Mayo GAA chairperson Liam Moffatt wished him well in his new role: “Kieran has worked as a Games Promotion Officer with Mayo GAA for a number of years and is a very capable, high qualified and talented coach.
“He brings huge expertise in sports management and performance to his new role and everybody involved with Mayo GAA looks forward to working with Kieran.”
