No fewer than 11 Limerick players were selected on The Sunday Game's Hurling Team of the Year after yesterday's All-Ireland final demolition of Cork.
The team was chosen by RTÉ panellists Jackie Tyrrell, Brendan Cummins, Shane Dowling and Ursula Jacob, with one player each from Cork, Kilkenny, Waterford and Clare completing the line-up.
Cian Lynch was chosen as The Sunday Game’s Hurler of the Year after scoring six points from play in a man of the match All-Ireland final performance.
