Clare football star David Tubridy's scoring exploits have not gone unnoticed by Trump!
The long-serving Banner County forward surpassed Sligo great Mickey Kearns in the national football league's all-time scoring charts after hitting 1-8 in the Division 2 win over Cork last month. Tubridy then followed up with 0-3 during the semi-final against Mayo.
The Doonbeg clubman has now taken his overall league tally to 22-415 (481 points) in 14 seasons, twelve ahead of Kearns (469) in the all-time list, with Sligo's first All-Star playing 17 years between 1961 and 1978.
Local hotel Trump Doonbeg, which is owned by former US President Donald Trump, bestowed a special honour on Tubridy by making him an Honourary Life Member in recognition of his achievement.
