As the league fixtures keep coming thick and fast, there were no fewer than 13 games today between football and hurling.

In football, there was a full programme of matches in Division One North, where Donegal entertained Monaghan and Armagh hosted Tyrone. Westmeath had home advantage against Mayo in Division Two North and Cork travelled to Laois in Division Two South, while all eight Division Three teams were also in action.

Not to be outdone, hurling took centrestage first when Tipperary and Galway put their unbeaten records on the line at Thurles. Also in the top flight, Dublin welcomed Antrim to Parnell Park for another entertaining tussle.
