
The GAA confirmed the fixtures for the opening of the 2026 Tailteann Cup on Wednesday.
With draws made on Monday afternoon, the first games in the football championship’s second tier are set to take place the weekend after next.
The clash of Clare and Offaly in Ennis on Saturday, May 9th will see the competition officially commencing, with the meeting of either Westmeath, Down or Cavan versus Leitrim the following weekend closing the first-round action.
