Caulfied maybe in there somewhere. It's a 21 man game now so it'll be interesting to see who is actually in first 24. You rightly point out about the three injured lads. Maybe Morris not a guaranteed starter. The development of Moriarty is good to see. Potentially an excellent addition to last year. Michael Murphy also as this is an area Meath are light on at the moment.

Pretty on the money there I think and I agree Kinsella is pushing hard, he may the only change to your selection, goalkeeper selection will ne interesting also. Fermanagh at home is a must win fixture, they have lost a few of their more prominent men for this year and whilst they must not, and won't be, taken for granted its a game we must win if ambitions are to be realised.

Decent team but is Harnan injured? I'd have him in midfield, was in great form last year. James McEntee missing also. Frayne not at all tested at this level and 11 is a vital position. I'd like to see one of my favourite players on club scene Cathal Finnegan given a go.

Frayne just has to play, was the best forward in club championship by a mile. Harnan is on the panel but not ready to play and even if he was there is not a hope he'd be playing midfield, James mcentee not involved this year. Finnegan should make squad.

Fermanagh luckily are in a bit of bother. So we should win with bit to spare. Morris injured is a worry, harnan was good last year when mcentee returned, but without him he seems a bit at lost. Defense will be our worry. I expect frayne to play. Moriarty could also feature. For me while no game is a given this is a must win. We need to head to newry with a bit of confidence.

Forgot Frayne in that team truth be told. I would have him in at 15 for Kinsella and inside with Moriarty and Costello

Yeah that would be my pick too.

Sorry - I don't believe Shane Walsh is an 11! I would prefer either Frayne or Campion there! Shane is a strong lad and I think decent full forward but I just don't think he is mobile enough at 11! Otherwise I'm on the same page as you!

Billy Hogan is a different level of keeper to Sean Brennan having watched both closely. I'll be blue in face calling for Eoghan Frayne to start, cathal hickey midfield? Is that a typo? I know he does an excellent job there for senchelstown but this is winter inter county football, he would get ragdolled.

Billy Hogan is an excellent keeper, and I would not be surprised if he does start, and would be very confident in him if he did. There is not much between all three but I just think Sean Brennan has been very solid and composed so far, and has done nothing wrong to lose the jersey. Not a typo at all, and if you were watching, Cathal Hickey played there against Louth, played there again seemingly at the weekend vs Galway, and also plays there for his club.

I wouldnt take much stock of him playing midfield in an O'Byrne cup game, he has been on the panel for 4 years and has never played a meaningful game there. The midfield can only be 2 of either Jack Flynn, Conor Gray, Diarmuid Moriarty, Ronan Jones, Daithi McGowan or Cian McBride. Hickey has to be wing back or wing forward but midfield would be madness.
