I would probably bring in Colgan for Brennan and Conlon for O'Reilly. But I can see same 15 named."

I'd expect McGill to follow Flynn and Lavin to take Kirwan

Flynn is very pacey and can be difficult to man mark. It is a very difficult times for everyone involved in the team with the virus restrictions-the best of luck to all involved.

Looks like Div. 2 this year has been really poor judging by the championship performances so far. Armagh, Roscommon and Westmeath have offered little or nothing against Div. 1 opposition. Div. 2 and Div. 3 look to be similar level but Div. 1 way ahead. If that's the case, expect Meath to take Kildare tomorrow with a bit to spare. Lets hope I'm proven right. Right choice for Andy to go with same team from the start and introduce subs for 2nd half when needed.

I am not sure about that Westmeath played Dublin in fairness to them. Roscomon and Armagh where disappointing alright. But Cavan stung Monaghan and Cork stug Kerry. Both local rivals. Ie like Meath v Kildare so i would be very wary. hoping for a win but wont count any chickens. Ronan Ryan said they are loving the knock out championship so sounds like they are up for it lets hope so. And we shake a win.

Looks like weather will be a factor tomorrow, need a good start unlike previous three league games, both full forward and full back lines need to step up a level. Feely will drift forward for Kildare and needs close attention, he is one of the best fielders of the ball I have seen for quite a while. Our experience in Division one should favour us slightly, however Kildare had a better workout against Offaly. As always with these two teams its very hard to call a winner with any great confidence.

On a positive note looks like Graham Geraghty will be able to watch the game at home.

I counted 6 Kickouts Kevin feely either won clean or got fouled in the last 15 minutes against Offaly, brennan cant Kick down his side on our own kickouts and for kildare Kickouts we got try and make it a breaking ball, Feely Dominated us in 2017 and could Dominate us tomorrow if we don't plan for him , one of the best midfielders in the country.

Just want to wish Andy Bryan and Donal the best of luck. Incredibly nervous about this one. Kildare always a bogey team for us.

Just dont see us progressing enough as a unit too many mistakes. Bar Mentons goal we didnt have enough hand passing rectangles going forward.

This could change given the wide open confines of Croke Park which will seem even bigger without a crowd.

I think our biggest problem area is goalkeeper and I really would wish Andy had another look at Big Joe for goals again. He only got a couple of halves in the O Byrne Cup and if anything it would give the lads a lift seeing him in nets. Unreal under the high ball good shot stopper and deadly with the drop kick. And now recently retired from carrying Seneschalstown he could be reinvigorated in the County Scene.

If he cant be enticed back then I would suggest to Andy to go to Devenish and to hell with Covid get a flight to Oz and beg on his knees to try entice Paddy O'Rourke back. A top quality keeper is the missing part of the jigsaw as we give far too much away from kick outs and also open play.

I think weather may have a part to play so I think itll be nip and tuck and a close game. Meath to win by 8.

Hon the Royal!

God this morning is dragging. Full of optimism and nervous energy. I think this a big for Meath as regards trying fored ahead losing might be a backward step. It would be disappointing to lose this. It's so hard to predict a winner God knows what today will throw at us. Hope we come out on the right side. Good luck all. Come on the royal County.

No I never drink the night before a Championship game or league for that matter. Need to be able to concentrate to properly watch and analyse the match.

I do shift work so I'm up all hours. In fact I worked extra hours last night to be able to now watch my beloved Royal County.
