The penny drops

Last round this week , Longwood the surprise packets look to be straight to a semi with kiltale.
They are somehow yet to be tested on a big pitch so questions marks still remain.
Trim have been terrible , lucky to be in such a poor group.
Na fianna look solid and will be no walkover in the 1/4s

how do you make out trim have been terrible and na fianna solid?
trim have won there games by 12, 18 and 17, granted one poor performance against Blackhall.
If you actually had a clue you would have noticed longwood wont qualify straight for semis on score difference!!!!

People are dismissing Trim because they have won 4 games and only beat BHG by a point. But Na Fianna are great because....they have won 4 games and only beat BHG by a point?

Not saying Na Fianna can't beat Trim but where's the logic in these predictions?

very strange venues picked the only two that make sense are Killyon v Kildalkey in Boardsmill and Na Fianna v Trim in Rathmolyon. Blackhall have to go to Longwood to play Boardsmill and Longwood have to go to Dunshauglin to play Dunboyne? then they bring Kiltale v Ratoath to Navan surely Dunshauglin was the place for this?

That is also without saying that na fianna had a last minute point to win the game which was about 2 foot wide

Trim are talked about as championship contenders , have they showed any form to back this up?
Na fianna won last years inter and will be delighted to have made the 1/4s
Nowhere did i say na fianna will go further than trim , just they wont be easy beat in a 1/4 final

Mayby trim will lay down a marker at the weeknd

Trim supporters getting very upset

Longwood play the worst team in the group so should rack up a score , kildalkey play killyon which is a more difficult game so unless killyon turn up to get the bellies tickled you would expect longwood to finish second but who knows.

If you re read the post i did say - LOOK TO BE STRAIGHT TO SEMI

Navan O'Mahonys V Kilmessan : Kilmessan to win with ease, to restore some confidence after a rough year. O'Mahonys have achieved what they wanted, senior status.

Dunboyne V Longwood : Longwood have impressed this year. Really like the way they play. Dunboyne are poor. The Wood by 8

Killyon V Kildalkey : Killyon are poor this year. Kildalkey need a good win here to give them confidence for further down the line, they havent hit full stride yet. Poor for a long time v Dunboyne before pulling away. The Village by 12

Ratoath V Kiltale : Kiltale yet to be out of their comfort zone. Potential for this to be tight but cant see it. Kiltale by 8-10

Na Fianna V Trim : Tie of the round. Can see arguments for both sides. Verdict relies on whether Douglas plays. He's been playing football and not the hurling recently, anyone know why? Trim backs have been good though, and this should get them over the line. Trim by 5

Blackhall Gaels V Boardsmill : Gaels had a good year and should feel hard done by to not get into a quarter. Should easily beat relegated Mill.

Douglas has ligament issues in his hand. Should be playing against Na Fianna.

Trim and Na Fianna was tight as expected. Both teams had a lot of wides. Subs made a difference for Trim, and Charlie Ennis made a few good saves. I thought Barry Slevin was outstanding for Na Fianna.

i have this strange feeling ratoath or trim will beat kiltale in the semi final. just think kiltale are vulnerable in semi final like 2013 vs longwood . hard to believe but they would be going for 8 in a row if they won that one.
