Congratulations to Kilbride! If I'm not mistaken it'll be their first adult county final since their last SFC win in 1971.
They've done a massive amount of work at underage level and I hope it starts to pay off and they get back to junior A.

Replying To Analyst:  "Be interesting so. I go for 3 second strings to win, this by the way would not be a good sign for football as both Summerhill and Tones are rural clubs , Dunboyne are different in that their player base covers a huge population covering 2 counties"
Haha, where do you think this stuff up? Kildare is beside us too, you could have went all out and said we have the pick of 3 counties. Anyway congrats Clonard.

Congrats to our neighbours Kilbride as well, despite their unfair advantage with their Dublin catchment area to pick from! :-)

Replying To Analyst:  "After all the fuss made by the first teams in Junior to have second sttings in a seperate group, which guaranteed that at least 2 (if not 3 as is now the case) would be in Quarters, it now looks likely that 3 second strings could be in semi finals as i would expect Dunboyne, tones and Summerhill to all win Quarter finals."
Great to see all the second teams beaten over the weekend. very good idea to put them all in the one group.

Junior A very low standard. No club like winners of last 2 years bective and curraha left now
I suppose no surprise that this late in the competition the 2nd teams well shorn of 4/5 players back in round 1 fell when the crunch came.
Correct decision to split it up into separate groups

Better for football that they are gone. I dont think that having all second strings in one group does them any favours when it come to knockout though. Not battle hardened

The 2nd teams just knock the likes of clonard meath hill and moylagh out each year in the early rounds then when they are gutted by their senior teams they fall away.
Happens every year they seldom make semis last year excused when I think skryne did and 5/6 years ago when Don/Ash got to final
So it's nonsensical even having them junior A they should have there own reserve championship

Dunboyne had a fair team still in 2014 I think when they got to the final, 9 or 10 of that team playing senior now

Anyone (including the county board!) know what the story is with relegation from Junior A, now that Kells won the Junior B. Do Moynalty still get relegated? Will there be only 11 first teams in the competition next year instead of 12? Will one of the second teams be put into a group with 5 first teams, or will they go with a group of 6 and one of 5. How many second teams will be relegated this year - 2? 3?
Will it be a question of making it up as we go along, or has this been planned for? How many objections will there be to next years format before it is finally settled on?

MeathHill will win this hands down. They wont slip up,they will add to the intermediate grade. They are an example to allteams that moving up the league is vital for championship

No Moynalty are safe now. Kells move up and replace Simonstown

Expect Moylagh to win this. More consistent team who haven't been beaten in this years cship. Stronger and hungrier team also.
