Margaret was a sister of Harry Dowling who won a Junior B championship medal with Skryne in 1967. She was aunt of Philip and Mark Kinsella and Gary Johnson who played all their football with the Blues. Philip won Senior Championship medals in 1992, 1993 and 1999 with Gary getting in on the act in 1999.
