The Brady family have a lengthy involvement with Simonstown Gaels GFC and Ann's sons, Paul, Alan, Karl and Brian, played football with the north Navan club. Brian was a member of the Junior C side this year. Her husband Dickie, who is an uncle of Meath All-Ireland winner Colm Brady, was involved in coaching in the club. Ann's brothers, Noel Smyth and Pat Smyth (Navan O'Mahonys), are also well-known in local GAA circles.
